My most beloved sister in law returned recently from a 3 week sojourn in Thailand (Hint: don't even touch the water, much less drink it. She's on her 3rd round of antibiotics.) On my recent yarn crawl I found a scarf kit in lovely shades of scarlett and made this for her. It is Handmaiden Yarns, Wave Scarf kit. I really like these scarf kits from Handmaiden. They include an affordable amount of luxury fiber, in this case silk and cashmere, and the patterns I've done have been quick and easy but interresting enough to keep me going long enough to actually finish a scarf.
I've been quite sick since Saturday evening and needed something mindless to knit. Sock needles were too small and made my hands hurt so I dug something out of the stash and made this for my princess.
One Skein Wonder, from Glampyre Knits
Lion Brand Microspun, Lavendar, used double throughout
If you have a young girl in your life, and something pretty in the stash, this is a quick and easy way to put a smile on her face.
I hope that you are feeling better! The scarf is beauuuuutiful!
