I've been working my old lady hands pretty hard lately and haven't really been knitting. I finished the Sunrise shawl a while ago, and gave it to a friend for her birthday.
I've sort of been kinda knitting a row here and there on the neverending green Lost socks.
I've even been spinning a few yards at a time on my drop spindle, which is cool.
But I need a new project. Something fun that will overcome these knitting blahs.
I want a lightweight cardigan that I can throw on in chilly mornings or evenings, that looks pretty enough to wear out in public, but that isn't so complicated that I'll never finish.
The stash has some KP Andean Silk in chocolate brown - lovely, worsted weight - and enough for a cardigan. There's also a pile of Patons Classic Wool in a light grey - but that just feels like winter to me. KP has a sale on... unless Canada Post goes on strike which would make ordering yarn kinda pointless.
I dunno. But about 25 knitters a day read this blog - or drop in from Ravelry to check out my free patterns. (Which, by the way, I'd love know know if you actually knit anything with them.) I wonder if anyone out there has an idea for a cardigan with a little interest and a lot of style. I'd love to hear your ideas.

I like the Adriatic Cardi in the Summer 2011 interweave knits it's pretty complicated though. There are some nice cardigans in the Summer Knit Scene as well.

I just made a cardigan out of Noro sock yarn and it is just the right weight, and of course, colourful!

What do you think of the Mrs. Darcy cardigan? It's something a little different, and looks flattering? I also like Every Last Yard, although it might not be stylish enough... :)
